3 Ideas for Wildlife Paintings on Wood

There are lots of ways to spruce up your house, and one of the best ways is to get some really creative wildlife art. Here are a few ideas for that different kind of look that you're looking for:

1. Have a fishing scene, or your favorite fish painted on the end of a boat oar. This piece can look great in your home, and it is easy to take that piece and hang it up anywhere. If you have really crowded wall space from years of collecting, a piece like this can fill an odd-shaped area.

2. Get your favorite wildlife animal on a piece of wood that matches your furniture, wall, or outdoor kitchen/bar. Make it look almost like it came with the place, not as if it was something you just found! Get an artist to paint his work especially for you using a specific stain on the wood.

3. Have your favorite wildlife painted on wood and turned into furniture or other home decor. Use a painted piece of wood as the top of a stool, or a serving tray, or anything else. Get creative, if you or someone you know is handy with wood working, find out exactly what you want and talk to an artist about creating the wildlife painting on wood that you need.

Joe Daniel Wildlife Artist

Here are a few things from Joe Daniel's Wildlife Art gallery, available on wood and done with acrylic paints. Joe can do anything at special request. They're not fancy, they're just a great looking and simple piece of art to decorate a home or beach house.

The first is a painting of two speckled trout going down for bait - a crawfish. Pretty detailed painting and done on a darker wood.

...and this is a very colorful blue crab painting which was done on wood as well.
